Purr & Pause is your little reminder to slow down, settle in and enjoy the moment.
Designed in-house and brought to life through our own mould-making process, Purr & Pause begins as an original design developed by our team. We create and 3D print the master forms used to produce our moulds, allowing us to develop sculptural designs that are distinctly Handcrafted SA.
Each candle is then hand-poured into its mould and individually refined by hand after demoulding, with every piece receiving its final finishing touches before it leaves our studio.
Made using a premium paraffin wax with soy as a parasoy blend, Purr & Pause is completely unscented, allowing its sculptural form and character to take centre stage.
More than a candle, it is a piece of functional art designed to live in your space, become part of a moment and eventually transform as it burns.

Every Handcrafted SA sculptural candle begins with an idea.
We develop our designs, create and 3D print the master form, produce our own moulds, then hand-pour each candle before refining it by hand after demoulding.
It is a meeting of design, technology and traditional making, allowing us to turn an idea into something you can hold, display, burn and experience.
We make the art, you make the moment.
